In honor of our third annual First Nations Day and Native Eco-Symposium, Red Earth Descendants invites the community to share a weekend committed to the issue of SALMON SURVIVAL along the Klamath and Trinity Rivers. We have made good relations with people from the Karuk, Hupa, Yurok, Takelma, Shasta, Calapooya and Klamath, Modoc, Yahooskin Tribes and we understand the survival of salmon in their homelands--the land we share in this region--is a core cultural issue of survival for the Indigenous People.

We intend to let this be our platform for education and discussion at our Eco-Symposium. We've asked some of these tribal connections to take the lead on the subject matter for our Eco-Symposium
