October Happenings!

We are excited to announce that there are two amazing events planned for October of this year--right around the corner as we move into fall! First, the unveiling of a newly organized local Powwow! It is called the "Rogue Valley Powwow," starting at 9 a.m. and going all day and into the evening on Saturday, October 1 at Valley of the Rogue State Park just off I-5 between Medford and Grants Pass. Next in line is a celebration at SOU for Indigenous Peoples Day, October 10, kicking off with a Salmon Bake at 11 a.m. on the Stevenson Union Courtyard--open to all--and moving into panel discussions in the Rogue River Room into the afternoon.
