"We Are Here" Part 2

Please see link below for Part 2 of the beautiful write-up by local researcher and writer Peter Finkle about the "We Are Here" event spanning back to 2006, when the We Are Here sculpture was unveiled in ceremony to the town, with the blessing of Grandma Aggie and of course the extraordinary carving skills of Russell Beebe. Part 2 brings us through the making of the bronze replica by artist Jack Langford, and how the bronze sculpture replaced Russell's wooden one downtown.

So many people have been misplaced, bringing much-needed attention to the inequities in housing that have faced us for decades--now much worse due to so many displaced people. Indigenous Peoples' Day Virtual Celebration, 2020!

World Peace and Prayer Day 2020

Yes, you read the title correctly! There WILL be a World Peace and Prayer Day this year. We're happy to let you all know that R.E.D. will host a sacred Fire on June 21, to honor the 25th World Peace and Prayer Day. Click under photo below for more details!

Can you and your organization help get the word out about this important webinar connecting fights including Jordan Cove LNG, Tacoma LNG, Trans Mountain Pipeline, and the Coastal Gas Link Pipeline?

13th Annual Winter Solstice Storytelling Conference and Benefit for Grandma Aggie's Family

Please join us! No admission charge at the door. Voluntary donations appreciated. All donations will go toward Grandma's family to help off-set Ceremony and Burial costs, as well as travel honorariums.

Kevin Locke to speak on Native American Prophecy and Promise

We are thrilled to announce a surprise visiting speaker to the Medford/Phoenix area this coming week!

Kevin Locke will be speaking at the Phoenix Public Library Wednesday, October 23, 6 to 8 p.m. His focus will be Native American Prophesy and Promise.

Kevin is a renowned Hoop Dancer, player of the indigenous Northern American Plains flute, traditional storyteller, cultural ambassador, recording artist and educator. More info under photo below--click "read more!"
