Honoring Our Elders. Sustaining the Next Seven Generations.

Red Earth Descendants is a grassroots, Indigenous-based organization

committed to creating healthy, sustainable community while preserving Native values, traditions and culture. Our core strength is in joining our youth, elders, families and regional tribes together to share knowledge and skills.

As we practice healthy community interaction, our goal is to give Native teachings to the next Generations of life.

Honoring a Legacy of Gathering

For more than a decade, Red Earth Descendants brought community together through seasonal gatherings rooted in Indigenous teachings, cultural exchange, and connection to the land. From 2005–2025, these events created opportunities for elders, youth, families, and community members to learn, share, and grow together

Spring Native
Games

A time of renewal and connection, the Native Games brought community together through traditional competition, teamwork, and cultural teachings carried through play.

𖤓
Summer Elder–Youth
Conference

This gathering created space for elders and youth to come together, share knowledge, and strengthen relationships through dialogue, ceremony, and cultural exchange.

𖣂
Fall Native Harvest
Gathering

We’d honor the season of harvest as we came together in gratitude for the land, sharing food, teachings, and traditions that sustain our community.

Winter
Storytelling

In the quiet of the winters, we’d gather to listen, learn, and preserve our history through storytelling, guided by the voices and wisdom of our elders.
